This Spring, Haverford Township's Shade Tree Commission (STC) will distribute beautiful young shade trees FREE of cost to 120 lucky Township residents. Winners will be chosen by lottery, with distribution on the morning of May 3rd, 2025. We request that you only enter the lottery if you or a proxy are available to pick up your tree on May 3rd, no exceptions. We will continue to have volunteers available to help pick up and plant trees for residents who require assistance to participate in the program owing to age, disability, or lack of a car. Participants of this accessibility service must still be available on the 3rd to receive and site their tree.
