All Year | Phishing Email Alert | Phishing emails look like they come from a legitimate source. However, when you examine the sender's email address, it is not the correct email address of the sender. Instead, the emails are sent from criminals trying to obtain information or infect your computer with a virus.
Phishing can come from any source, including banks, etc. There have been reports of phishing emails that appear to originate from Haverford Township, but do not. If something doesn’t look right, the email address doesn't match, or you aren't expecting an email from that person – be safe and do not open the email. The Township recommends that you:

08/01/2022 | Facade Improvement Program - Phase 2 _Begins August 1, 2022 | Building on the efforts from Phase 1, Discover Haverford and Haverford Township are happy to announce the opening of the Haverford Township Facade Improvement Matching Grant Program – Phase 2 which will continue to provide matching grants to businesses, nonprofits or commercial property owners for the purpose of promoting economic recovery and community revitalization through aesthetically improved business properties, visible from our public streets. Phase 2 will have expanded awards with the Township matching an applicant’s investment in qualified improvements, dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000. Funds for this service are provided to the Township by the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act. The program administrator on behalf of the Township of Haverford is the non-for-profit agency, Discover Haverford (HPED). Applicants who were previously awarded grants under Phase 1 may reapply under Phase 2 as long as their total award between the two phases does not exceed $25,000. | Program website |

In accordance with the Home Rule Charter, the services must be performed by a Pennsylvania licensed CPA or firm of CPA’s appointed by the Board of Commissioners. All questions regarding the Township or its request for proposal should be submitted via email to the Assistant Township Manager/Director of Finance, Aimee Cuthbertson, at acuthbertson@havtwp.org up until Friday, August 19, 2022 at 4:00pm (no phone requests will be honored). In the spirit of fairness, responses to questions will be posted as an addendum no later than Friday, August 26, 2022 at 4:00pm. Proposals must be received no later than Friday, September 16, 2022 at 4:00pm to the Assistant Township Manager/Director of Finance. Electronic copies in PDF are preferred; however, paper versions will also be accepted. The award is expected to be made at the October 11, 2022 Board of Commissioners meeting.
